Meet The Team

Here’s your chance to get to know some of the people behind Agillic.

Charlie

Business Development Manager

Q: How long have you been working for Agillic?

A: Joined September 2018

Q: Is there something that people may not know about your position?

A: Like many people at Agillic, I wear quite a few hats – call it a hybrid role. In a single day, I could be doing anything from outbound prospecting and souring new partners all the way to responding to RFPs and helping to close opportunities. It’s all very exciting.

Q: When you were little, what job did you dream of having when you grew up?

A: I will be very honest, I loved Michael Schumacher and really did think I could become an F1 driver.

Q: What makes you look forward to coming into the office?

A: Every day is different. I could be talking to a high growth Fintech one day and a hotel chain the next.

Smaranda

Director of Product Design

Q: How long have you been working for Agillic?

A: Joined June 2018

Q: Is there something that people may not know about your position?

A: As a designer, people think that you spend most of your time in Photoshop. Actually, nobody really uses Photoshop anymore for UX design (we use Figma, by the way.) But more importantly, as a designer you spend most of your time talking to people, not drawing screens. 🙂 Also, I have a post-it shredder and go through 10-25 post-its a day. 😀

Q: When you were little, what job did you dream of having when you grew up?

A: Jedi Knight. I still dream about being a Jedi Knight when I grow up. I’m not there yet.

Q: What makes you look forward to coming into the office?

Honestly, the people. We’ve managed to strike just the right balance of having fun and ‘getting stuff done’ at work. We also have a very open culture where most managers are very approachable and you can speak your mind without fear of repercussions.

Dagny

Customer Success Manager

Q: How long have you been working for Agillic?

A: Joined September 2018

Q: Is there something that people may not know about your position?

A: It might be true that my position is self-explanatory. But, few will know that a little (read a lot) of obsessive-level thinking will get you far. When I have lots of projects, interest, and customers to tend to, I have to keep multiple plates spinning at the same time. An obsessive attention to detail helps me keep track of each of my responsibilities.

Q: When you were little, what job did you dream of having when you grew up?

A: I wanted to be a CEO. Of what, I have no idea! 🙂 But, as I grew a bit older, I realised I wanted to work with people and communication which morphed into projects and project management, then later client management.

Q: What makes you look forward to coming into the office?

A: My colleagues and the cross-team collaboration which is a huge part of my day to day work.

Benjamin

Quality Assurance Engineer

Q: How long have you been working for Agillic?

A: Joined October 2014

Q: Is there something that people may not know about your position?

A: You get to work with spreadsheets… a lot! It’s up to you whether that’s a surprise or not.

Q: When you were little, what job did you dream of having when you grew up?

A: When I was little, I wanted to be a school teacher, perhaps for maths. So, I suppose it makes sense I’ve ended up in QA.

Q: What makes you look forward to coming into the office?

A: I really enjoy coming in and seeing my colleagues in person. It’s great to talk about work but also to have a chit chat.
